Tale . . .

In 2011, the DOCG OFFIDA was created, which includes the Offida Passerina DOCG in the regulation.

This was a fundamental work of enhancing this other white grape variety very important for the PICENO.
The PASSERINA.

It belongs to the Trebbiano family and owes its name to the fact that the sparrows were greedy of its berries.
It has very ancient origins and has found the Piceno territory suitable for its diffusion.
It is a quite generous grape variety and, vinified in purity, gives rise to wines that are not too alcoholic with an important acid component and interesting varietal aromas.
Wines that go very well with the sea cuisine of the nearby Adriatic coast.
